It’s time to team up for the Big Roll!

The Big Brothers Big Sisters 2024 Bowl for Kids’ Sake, will hit the bowling lanes this April. This is the biggest and most important fundraiser and awareness campaign of the year for the BBBS mentoring program and benefits both kids and participants. The event is especially attractive to businesses, corporations, and organizations because it’s considered one of the best team-building and sponsorship opportunities in New Mexico. Regional events will take place throughout April in Taos, Santa Fe, Pojoaque, Espanola, and Gallup.

This year’s theme is “Sports Tailgate,” where teams dress as their favorite sport or team for the themed bowling events. Now is the time to form a team of five people, get signed up, and plan your unique costumes or uniforms. Larger companies or organizations can have multiple teams of five people.

We just love Bowl for Kids Sake,” says Deborah Trouw, owner of Elevation Wealth Partners in Santa Fe, “and we think it’s the best team-building event in New Mexico. You get to bowl, have fun, and help kids — all at the same time.

Why should you participate? There’s no better, and more fun, team-building event than Bowl for Kids’ Sake. Plus, it’s a memorable and meaningful way to support the BBBS mentoring program for youths because every penny raised goes directly to fund the work of mindfully matching children with carefully screened adult mentors and to provide ongoing support to the child, the volunteer mentor, and the child’s family.. Now that’s community engagement at its very best! Your support today means that one of the 89 children on the waiting list could be matched with their Big very soon.

Business and community leaders know the benefits of team-building and bonding which raises employee morale and increases work productivity. Another plus is that Bowl for Kids’ Sake is probably one of the best corporate sponsorship events in New Mexico.

Also, those participating can be assured that Bowl for Kids’ Sake is one of the highest-visibility events of the year in New Mexico, guaranteed to bring brand awareness to your company or organization.

Mentoring a young person is a life-changing experience for both the young person and the mentor,” continues Deborah, “and the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring program is one that every company and organization in New Mexico should support.”

Mentoring a youth is one of the most important things a person can do. Having a Big Brother or Big Sister can change the life of a child for the better, and the good-feel factor for the mentor is off the charts. History is full of successful, happy people who credit the mentors they’ve had in their lives, not only for their success but also for the fulfilled lives they’ve lived.

This event is more than bowling for fun — it’s a campaign about helping kids. This long-standing event is one of the number one sources of revenue for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in New Mexico and is also the number one opportunity for Big Brothers Big Sisters to connect with corporations and individuals to share information with them about the

the program, the benefits of the program on local youth,  and the great need for more volunteer mentors. Without the support of businesses and the general public for this event, many children in New Mexico would not know what it means to have a mentor. Big Brothers Big Sisters is more than an after-school program, it is a much-needed one-to-one mentoring service that empowers local youth to grow and thrive.
